Former Iron Mountain Executive Joins EED as Western Region Vice President of Sales
Skip Lindsey brings 20 years’ experience in information management
Kirkland, Wash. — November 20, 2007 — Leading eDiscovery software and services provider EED today announced that Skip Lindsey has joined the company as western region vice president of sales. Lindsey comes to EED from global information protection and storage provider Iron Mountain, where he served as vice president of sales with the consulting and digital services groups.
“Lindsey brings to EED a long history in document and records management, as well as a strong focus on litigation support strategy,” said David McCann, EED chief executive officer. “Information management is a critical component of litigation preparedness, and therefore plays a key role in EED’s eDiscovery process design practice. Lindsey’s background dovetails perfectly with EED’s services and strategic direction.”
Lindsey led strong revenue growth at Iron Mountain, positioned the company’s services to address customers’ litigation support needs, and forged a channel partnership with EED partner IBM FileNet.
“In light of last year’s changes to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, companies are realizing they must be much more proactive when it comes to litigation preparedness and eDiscovery process,” Lindsey said. “It’s no longer enough to preserve and collect electronic evidence in response to litigation. I’m excited to join the company that’s taking the leadership position in helping companies proactively implement companywide eDiscovery strategies.”
In addition to his four years at Iron Mountain, Lindsey also served as south western regional vice president of sales for software and services company Divine during a period of explosive growth. He also worked for eight years for archiving and records management leader Mobius, as director of sales establishing the company as the dominant provider of content management solutions in the Western United States.
